in lighting design by Luis Sottil, the artist and creator
of the “Naturalismo” technique.
Sottil’s
concern has been how to create a museum comparable source of light
that could be installed at home easily, and economically.
The
design is highly minimalistic and non-distracting from any work
of art. At the same time, the contemporary chrome and glass characteristics
lend themselves to the creation of a lighting system when installed
behind each painting within the same area. This exceptional lighting
mechanism can be installed in minutes; it is simply attached behind
any kind of framing work to light any style painting.
These light
fixtures come with one, two or three MR-16, 35 watt bulbs. Luis
Sottil provides you with a specific chart that will indicate the
number of lights required depending on the size of your painting.
The lights come with the perfect angle of light beam, degree of
light 
spread
and watt intensity exclusively researched by the artist.
Each unit
comes complete with wiring, a built in transformer, light bulbs
and everything needed for easy installation.
